Oak Trail 3/4 Miles

This is the Fall River State Park at Quarry Bay. We went down the Oak trail with camcorder in hand. This is a moderate hiking trial, 3/4 of a mile in length, very well kept as seen in the video. My trail leader as seen from time to time kept me on the path while filming. Fall River is a beautiful and very well kept park, the pride of the staff reflects in every aspect of the park.

Positioned between the Cross Timbers region and the grasslands of the Flint Hills, Fall River State Park is home to a remarkable diversity of plant and animal life. The 980-acre park is a unique blend of forested flood plains, blackjack savannahs, and tallgrass prairie. Outdoors enthusiasts looking to get off the beaten track will find much to their liking at this park, located in southeastern Greenwood County. Description: Camping, swimming, boating, water skiing, hiking, and picnics are popular pursuits at Fall River. Developed campsites include modern restroom and shower facilities.
